Wadala

The Harbour line parallel of Dadar, it has the RTO and the railway station looks out on to the service road for Mumbai Port Trust. It has beautiful old churches and old structures that remind one of the pictures one may have seen of old Mumbai.

Developed initially to house the middle classes of the early nineteenth century Mumbai, this suburb over time has grown to house some reputed schools and colleges. A fairly small suburb, it is a quiet place to reside; while there are some industrial estates that bring in the commercial factor.

Tranport: Linked to the Harbour and Western line by train, and too Dadar by road. The service road makes it a pleasure to speed into town in the mornings when the heavy vehicular traffic is off it.
