Today this is the most aspired to residential address in the central suburbs, courtesy Hiranandani constructions. This group has almost single-handedly put this otherwise forgotten piece of Mumbai on the prospective homebuyers' map.

Today, of course there are several other construction houses setting up their projects in this area, but the largest projects continue to be built in Hiranandani's mini-township. Besides being a preferred residential address, it is also a prestigious commercial address to put on your visiting card. The township offers international design and standard of construction, with the latest in living and working facilities. It is a huge shopping mall, a go-karting race track, beautiful gardens, branches and ATMs of leading banks, and more.

The vast green cover of the IIT grounds and the huge water surface of the Powai lake are just a short drive away. They do much to add ambience and regulate the atmosphere in this area. While this area has been rapidly developing for the last 10 years, many consider this to be only the beginning.

Transport: The area does not have any railway station passing through it, but can be accessed from Vikhroli and Kanjur Marg on the Central railway. On the Western line, it is closest to Andheri station. better connected by the roads than by rails.
